About Our Pastor
The Rev. Fran Spier Saylor serves as founding pastor of The Table. She is energized by the chance to create fresh expressions of worship, to strengthen communities and to build relationships through the kind of loving hospitality that Jesus modeled.
Before that, she served as pastor of Mizpah Moravian Church in Rural Hall, North Carolina. She’s had a varied career, having served as a church educator, director of Witness and Nurture Ministries at Benson Memorial UMC, a preschool and elementary school teacher, a bookseller and traffic and production assistant for an advertising agency before being ordained in 2018. She is also pleased to serve on the Board of Trustees of Moravian Theological Seminary, the Board of Trustees of Lancaster Theological Seminary, and the Moravian Episcopal Coordinating Committee.
A graduate of Salem College, Duke Divinity School and Moravian Theological Seminary, Fran lives in Apex with her husband, Scott. They have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and a daughter-in-law to be, and one grandson.
In her spare time, Fran enjoys reading, spending time with
family, stitching, traveling, and playing on our beautiful North Carolina coast.
Worshipers at The Table are on the move. Our home is Western Wake County, North Carolina, and we gather around tables, wherever we can find them – whether at park shelters, coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, homes – you name it. We come together to worship, to pray, to laugh, to cry, to study scripture and to wrestle with what God may be saying to us. We’d love for you to join us!
Our worship services are at 10 o’clock on Sunday mornings, and you can find us by checking out our events calendar or by sending an email asking to be added to our announcements list. Please come as you are – there’s no dress code.
